Black Coaches Classic

STUDENT ENGAGEMENT - COMMUNITY ENRICHMENT - COACHES RECOGNITION

The mission of the Black Coaches Classic is to promote increased representation of BIPOC coaches and administrators in senior level positions of scholastic sports. We aim to accomplish this by providing youth development opportunities, job readiness resources, networking sessions and advocating for changes in policy and hiring practices.

The Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) is an organization that sponsors activities in thirty-three sports, comprising 374 public and private high schools in the U.S. state of Massachusetts. 

The National Junior College Athletic Association, founded in 1938, is the governing association of community college, state college and junior college athletics throughout the United States. Currently the NJCAA holds 24 separate regions across 24 states and is divided into 3 divisions.

The mission of Boston Public Schools (BPS) is to give all students (Grades 6-12) the opportunity to participate in an innovative athletics program that explicitly develops the social-emotional and physical well-being of all athletes.

The mission of the Black Coaches Association (BCA) is to develop coaches, improve hiring practices and encourage the use of mental health services for our student-athletes and BCA members. 

The New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) is the governing body for sports in preparatory schools in New England. 

An organization committed to making Massachusetts High School basketball the best it can be. The MBCA provides coaches the opportunity to work together toward a common set of goals that promote competition, player safety, and professionalism.

For over 50 years the Massachusetts Secondary Schools Athletic Directors Association (MSSADA) has supported and been dedicated to improving the quality of high school athletic programs in Massachusetts.

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) established in 1940, is a college athletics association for colleges and universities in North America. Most colleges and universities in the NAIA offer athletic scholarships to their student athletes.

The National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) is a professional organization for college and university athletic directors in the United States. NACDA boasts a membership of more than 6,100 individuals and more than 1,600 institutions throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.

The Massachusetts Community College Athletic Conference (MCCAC) is a sports association in the NJCAA for junior colleges located in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island. The conference is a member of the Region 21 of NJCAA.

Our  mission at the AACA is to eliminate racism and discrimination within the coaching profession. Provide scholarships to high school and college athletes,  hold webinars and motivational speeches to educate the American people on discrimination in the coaching industry. We also advise on the best colleges for athletes to attend based on extensive research.  

The National Collegiate Athletic Association is a nonprofit organization that regulates student athletics among about 1,100 schools in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, and United States Virgin Islands. 

The National Federation of State High School (NFHS) Associations is the body that writes the rules of competition for most high school sports and activities in the United States. NFHS's headquarters are located in White River State Park in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The Catholic Central League (CCL) is a high school athletic conference in district H of the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association.

The Greater Boston League (GBL) is a high school athletic conference in District B of the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association.

The Patriot League is a high school athletic league consisting of 12 MIAA member schools located south of Boston, MA.

The purpose of the Mayflower Athletic Conference (MAC) shall be to strengthen the work of the member schools in developing good sportsmanship and high ideals among contestants and teams; and to promote activities for students attending Mayflower Athletic Conference schools.

The Mission of the Rhode Island Interscholastic League is to provide educational opportunities for students through interscholastic athletics and to provide governance and leadership for its member schools in the implementation of athletic programs.

The Catholic Central League (CCL) is a high school athletic conference in district H of the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association.

To provide guidance and assistance to its members within the Organization and with other organizations. To maintain a continuous communication channel among coaches. To provide an instrument through which basketball athletes (managers, scorers, et al) may receive their just rewards for their achievements in the Rhode Island Interscholastic League. To provide standardization and fairness in the selection process for All- League, All-Division, All-State, All-Academic, and All-Star Teams. To offer representation to the membership and to give assistance in the form of a sounding board to answer various questions which may need resolution.

IAABO gives anyone a strong path to becoming an official. With a consistent, rigorous training program, an ongoing skills review process, and opportunities to refresh one's craft in and out of season, IAABO officials are the best at what they do.

The purpose of the Mayflower Athletic Conference (MAC) shall be to strengthen the work of the member schools in developing good sportsmanship and high ideals among contestants and teams; and to promote activities for students attending Mayflower Athletic Conference schools.
